Come and join us for a short introduction to Taichi Chuan

on July 10th at 12:30 pm at the Ottawa Technical High School

To peak your interest – there will be a short demonstration of the Tai Chi Fan and the Yang style Simplified taichi series by members of the Association. You will have the chance to participate, energize and relax with Qigong warm-up exercises and to learn some of the taichi forms. The session will be led by OTCA instructors Vinh Truong and Isabel Chang. Come dressed in loose fitting clothes, comfortable shoes and a smile.

The Ottawa Taichi Chuan Association (OTCA) established in 1985 is a nonprofit organization dedicated in promoting health and wellness in the Ottawa region through Tai Chi and Qigong exercises, demonstrations, workshops and classes.

The OTCA classes run September to May on Saturdays from 9:30AM to 11:30AM at Ottawa’s Adult High School located at 300 Rochester Street, Ottawa. The OTCA also holds summer practice from June to August on Saturdays from 9:30AM to 11:30AM at Dow’s Lake (Commissioners Park).

The OTCA has participated in numerous Ottawa community events through the years such as the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, the Asian Heritage Month, the Music and Beyond Festival, and Chinese cultural events.
