UNESCO has officially designated March 21 as International Taijiquan Day, with the first global celebration beginning in 2026.

To mark this historic first year, the Ottawa Tai Chi Chuan Association (OTCA) is launching a series of reels highlighting our 40+ years of history. Please check our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/OttawaTaichi. 

Founded on June 1, 1985 and incorporated as a non‑profit on June 14, 1988, OTCA has long been committed to promoting Tai Chi Chuan, fostering cultural exchange, and building fellowship within the community.

聯合國教科文組織（UNESCO）正式將 3 月 21 日訂為 國際太極拳日，並於 2026 年展開首屆全球慶祝活動。
